In the stillness this morning, held within the Circle of Light, a simple invitation arose.
Remember who you are.
Beneath the fear, beneath the doubt, beneath the questions you have carried about your own worth, your own knowing, your own place in this world, there is a Presence that has never left you.
The I AM.
Perhaps you have experienced it as a quiet flicker of Remembering. Perhaps that flicker has become a flame. Perhaps you are only beginning to recognize the moments when something within you grows still and you feel a knowing you cannot quite explain.
Give yourself space to listen.
There are so many voices in this world. So many teachings, promises, explanations, and paths. It can be easy to keep reaching outward, hoping the next answer will bring the certainty we long for.
Yet the invitation is always to return within.
To make space for silence, to strengthen our own relationship with God, Source, Presence and to become familiar with the wisdom of the spiritual heart through our own lived practice.
This is how discernment begins to deepen.
Becoming familiar with your own knowing
Discernment asks us to listen beneath the first thought, the familiar reaction, the habitual fear.
We begin to recognize the patterns we have lived with for so long. The need to control. The urgency to figure everything out. The hesitation that arises when something unfamiliar begins to open before us.
Through awareness, we become more able to notice what is speaking.
We can pause before following it and we can allow an understanding to unfold before deciding what it means.
As I sat this morning Spirit spoke of false light. For me, this brings forward the importance of discernment, especially when something presents itself as spiritual truth. Beautiful language and compelling promises can draw our attention. Our practice gives us space to listen more deeply, to inquire, and to recognize what supports the part of our journey we are ready to meet.
We must not surrender discernment as we walk our spiritual path.
We cultivate it through stillness, honest inquiry, and a deepening relationship with our own Divine Presence.
Many paths to the One Heart
There are so many names through which we enter into relationship with the Divine.
Yeshua.
Mother Mary.
Mother/Father God.
The I AM Presence.
Some feel a deep connection with angels or archangels. Others with the teachings of Yoga, the ascended masters, or the sacredness of Mother Earth.
The language that opens one heart may be different from the language that opens another.
What spoke so clearly through this morning’s transmission was the sincerity of the call.
The earnest turning of the heart toward God, Source, Presence.
The willingness to listen.
The willingness to receive.
The willingness to lay down, even for a moment, the need to know exactly how the journey will unfold.
There is room to approach this relationship in the language that speaks most deeply to you.
The remembrance is…the doorway is within.
Allowing the next step to be revealed
We can spend so much energy trying to force an opening.
Trying to understand before we have experienced.
Trying to arrive before we have walked.
Trying to see the whole path when only the next step is ready to be revealed.
There is a tenderness in allowing ourselves to be where we are.
A flicker of Remembering is still a beginning.
A quiet moment of trust is still meaningful.
Each time we return to Presence, we become more familiar with that relationship. We learn how to carry it into our conversations, our choices, our work, and our homes.
The mystical finds expression in the everyday.
Our practice becomes part of how we live.
You are allowed to ask for assistance
One of the gentlest invitations within this morning’s message was to ask.
To bring what we are carrying into prayer.
The thoughts we keep circling.
The pain we struggle to name.
The old patterns we are ready to meet differently.
We can ask for clarity. For comfort. For help in loosening what we have held so tightly.
We can allow ourselves to receive support without first having every answer.
For me, this is part of surrendered trust: opening my heart to God while allowing the next loving step to become clear.
There is so much that can pull our attention away from this relationship. So much noise. So much urgency.
And still, the invitation remains.
Return.
Make room for silence.
Listen with sincerity.
Allow your own relationship with the Divine to deepen.
May you recognize the quiet moments of Remembering as they arise.
May your discernment grow alongside your trust.
May you feel supported as you bring what you discover within into the life you are living.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So be it, and so it is.
