Eclipse Season is upon us and the doors of transformation are open while the hands of fate are now upon us leading us in new directions. Solar eclipses are fate-changing alignments that bring fated endings, breakdowns, and breakthroughs.
This eclipse is activating a new storyline in all our lives. Things might not yet be clear, but you can trust that this eclipse will give you insight into where you are being led. The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 14, 2023, is illuminating for us to explore themes related to balance, relationships, and transformation, in an effort to take our journey to the next level. As the moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, it temporarily blocks the Sun’s light, symbolizing a moment of darkness and introspection. This gives us an opportunity to take a closer look at our partnerships and how they impact our sense of self and emphasize our need of fairness, justice or equilibrium in our lives, especially in our connections with others.
Astrologically, you can think of eclipses as celestial wild cards of the cosmos. They can be unpredictable and often bring in surprises as well as fresh possibilities and spontaneously tie up loose ends in our lives. They usher in endings and beginnings. They also feel Intense and have a heavy vibe no matter how conscious you are of them. Situations and events tend to become more heightened, stressful, or emotional around eclipse times. Because this Solar Eclipse is conjunct with the south node (past, karma), it whispers a release, letting go, emptying, or leaving something behind in hopes of giving a better understanding of what needs a rebalance in our lives.
Our planet Pluto of transformation, power, and rebirth will be in a square to this moon and sun activating a feeling of being at a crossroads. We’re sensing that some issues or problems can no longer be denied or avoided. It shines a cosmic spotlight on hidden power dynamics and any unresolved issues that may lie beneath the surface within relationships or even in ourselves. It’s asking us to confront our fears and delve into our subconscious where we can start the transformation and healing. When Pluto is involved it’s intense because he represents the shadow and the dark places we would rather not go. It’s time to make peace with our darkness, otherwise, it can be detrimental to our spiritual and physiological well-being.
We are on a journey of seeing new revelations now by taking an honest look at our past and current relationships and understanding the patterns we are currently in order to move forward. An eclipse will bring your mind and body to where your soul intent resides, and when it does, there is no going back to the old ways. It’s a potent time to recalibrate all relationships, seek balance, embrace change and transformation, and trust that eclipses, while initially unsettling, are essential catalysts for our evolution.
