The New Moon in Gemini on June 17th, 2023, will be in a square to Neptune, kicking off a lunation where things might be less than crystal clear. This New Moon is very fluid and changeable. Gemini, an air sign ruled by Mercury, is known for its intellectual prowess, versatility, and communicative nature. This New Moon encourages us to embrace these qualities and engage in meaningful conversations, gather new information, and expand our minds. It sparks curiosity, encouraging us to explore different perspectives and seek out diverse experiences.

New Moons always symbolize the start of a new lunar cycle, providing us with an opportunity for fresh beginnings. It is a time to plant the seeds of our intentions and nurture them as they grow throughout the lunar month. After looking over this moon, some fog is attached, which may cloud our judgment or create a sense of uncertainty. We may feel the urge to embrace something new and to start over on something in our lives, but it may feel difficult to know precisely what the path is. You might want to hold off with this lunation in setting intentions and waiting till things become more clear.  Neptune, the planet associated with dreams, illusions, spirituality, and inspiration, will be in a square to this moon that carries a unique energy that can bring both enchantment and confusion. When Neptune forms a challenging aspect, such as a square, it introduces a sense of tension and potential misunderstandings. This energy is best for introspection, dropping into feelings more than the head. The best way to use it is to seek out things that inspire you emotionally, as a way to continue to develop trust and faith in the universe and your spiritual journey. When you are in confusion or in doubt lean more into your intuition and your heart. Mercury the ruler of this new moon, is actually really good in the sky at the time of this lunation. Sending us lovely energy for artistic pursuits and playfulness. So basically this new moon is not bad it’s just more suited to be still and ponder, embrace change, be flexible in adapting to new circumstances, and remain open to new possibilities. It’s a time to get lost in daydreaming and envisioning the life you are creating or want to create. There is an opportunity for spiritual growth, to tap into creative inspiration and your intuition. Also today Saturn makes his first station retrograde in Pisces. This is also calling for a time to take a retrospective view of your big challenges and lessons since March 7 when Saturn entered Pisces. There is a focus on what needs correction and reformatting with long-term needs and goals, what commitments are we needing to make, what is feeling heavy, and rethink how you are being structured. Remember Saturn is the task maker and the lord of Karma so as it journeys retrograde, it’s time to look back over the last few months to see your bigger lessons and reflect on what still needs to be learned or integrated.  The first step in manifestation is always a thought (Gemini), let them flow in with this new moon and hone in on them. The energy suggests asking to be more disciplined with our mind, to be discerning of what you let into your thinking, to step back and be an observer, and to catch your thoughts to control the scatter, negativity, and doubt. This moon is a mixed bag, so it’s best to surrender and try to bring yourself back to joy and bliss, embrace your creativity, and let it flow. Whether it’s using your words, imagination, or art. This new moon is great for creativity and listening to your inner guidance. Remember everything cascade from our own frequency and set that to love and peace xoxo. Wishing you a creative New Moon ✨
